Roots: Baskerville School

Roots is a Birmingham based illustrator and street artist specialising in heavily character based artwork influenced by 90s pop culture and nature.

As a full-time freelancer, Roots has engaged in a wide range of projects, collaborating with talented individuals and organisations. Her portfolio includes murals and illustrations for local businesses, global exhibitions of custom toys, and has worked with brands like Adidas, O2, Posca, and Pebeo. In addition, Roots is passionate about hosting workshops that foster creativity, particularly encouraging the next generation to explore street art and character design in a fun and inclusive setting.

Hipkiss and Graney: Dame Ellen Pinsent School

Hipkiss and Graney are a visual arts duo based in Stirchley, South Birmingham.

Their practice explores ideas around collectively, community and counter-movements through socially engaged workshops, large-scale interactive installations, and performances. Their performances discuss political and environmental issues, often involving magic realism and fictional organisations.

Hipkiss & Graney’s practice is built on public workshops and co-creation. Their workshops are designed to remove artmaking from a workshop context and deliver in a more traditional social context (village fete / pub quizzes). They explore ideas around collectively, community and counter-movements through socially engaged workshops, large-scale interactive installations, and performative outputs. Their performances discuss political and environmental issues, often involving magic realism and fictional organisations.

Break Mission: Fox Hollies

Break Mission is a Birmingham based educational Hip-Hop cic that has been running 10+ years that teaches Breakdance, Graffiti, Djaying and more, we aim to bring the creative style and freedom of these art forms to anyone and everyone who would like to learn, we truly believe everyone deserves art and creativeness in their lives and hope it can bring happiness and well being through what we teach.

Bhulla Beghal: Longwill School

Bhulla is an independent film maker and writer and Director for Bluebell Films. He makes short films and documentaries that often focus on mental health and well being, the deaf community and the experiences of British Asians. His work has a sense of fragility to it, and is grounded in empathy.

Samantha Krankpod is a ceramic artist and Staffordshire University graduate, specialising in handmade ceramics. She has 15 years experience as a creative facilitator working with children, adults and families.

Jack Goodall is a performer, songwriter and music educator. He's released four albums and toured Britain, Ireland and Canada.

Bethany Kay

Bethany Kay is a songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham.

She weaves catchy, distinctive melodies in the forgotten corners where musical genres and textures meet. She sings with an honest voice, drawing on her environment to create music that transports listeners to new landscapes.

Sharonjit Kaur Sutton: Wilson Stuart School

Sharonjit is a freelance multi-disciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Birmingham. She predominantly works within community, education, arts and heritage settings.

Her multi-faceted arts practice involves painting, textiles, printing, ceramics and drawing. Where possible, she tries to involve these elements in her designs – which is important when working on people focused projects.
